Registration of Veterinary Technicians in North Carolina

North Carolina's Veterinary Practice Act requires that Veterinary Technicians in North Carolina be registered. To achieve this a Veterinary Technician must:

Be a graduate of an AVMA Accredited Program of Veterinary Medical Technology.

Successfully complete the National Veterinary Technician Exam

Sucessfully complete the State Examination

Maintain 12 hours of Continuing Education biannually
